Thread: Fender Roller

  1. 03-28-2012 03:00 PM #1
Almost F'd up my fender this morning by forgetting to air up while entering my drive way.

Can any here lend me their fender roller and heat gun? I'd greatly appreciate it.

i would..but you would be wasting your time as it wont fit cos you have been lowered jsut by installing air...

rubber mallet and a large tape covered socket and a heat gun.

Not saying you're wrong, but how would it not fit cuz he's on air? Yes it's lower, but why couldn't he just raise it up to fit with the fender roller? Just confused me there...

Also, isn't this like the 3rd or 4th thread started in the past few months asking for a fender roller............................................ .......

most fender rollers, mine included are made for cars that have not been lowered.

he is on air, but the stroke of the strut is shorter, even all the way, his car isnt stock height.

i rolled a buddies MKVI gti a couple weeks ago, stock, and i didnt even have to extend the roller out to get to the fender...so even a half inch difference is too low for the roller.

i want a roller made for lowered cars that is crazy adjustable..but i dont have 600 for another roller that is rarely used.

Gotcha, makes sense. I just didn't think even though being on air it would matter that much, but makes sense having to get one for lowered cars. Sucks they do it that way.
