Ok, I have searched these forums already and have opened the little carpeted cover in the trunk liner but I don't see how I can pull out the bulb holder assembly. I have an intermittent bulb warning light on the dash related to the outer most parking/brake light bulb being out. I think the bulb is only loose since it fixed itself once and it started working again, but the yellow warning light has come on again and it's bugging the hell out of me. The forum search turned up conflicting info on how easy it is to do this. A couple of people said it takes seconds to do the bulb replacement, while others have had nightmare experiences with bulbs falling inside the housing and having to remove the taillight housing to get them out. So what's the real deal? I feel like this is something I should be able to do on my own but I don't want to spend hours.

Easiest thing ever!! i did it last night to install my silver turn signals, took me about 60 seconds each side. After you remove that carpeted piece, you will see that white tab that holds all the bulbs. There is a wire connector there as well, pull that blue tab that says "pull" or "open", as if you are actually disconnecting the electrical. As you are doing that with your thumb, have your remaining fingers on the white strip and pull out. Very very easy. HOpe this helps.
