    [BOUGHT ONE] WTB: TDI 5th Gear (02A/02J)

    BOUGHT ONE! Thanks for all the replies, finally found one that wasn't chipped or crazy expensive.

    Want to buy a tdi 5th gear set to swap into my mk3 VR with an 02A (revs way too high for my liking on the highway), specifically looking for the .700 or .717 ratio gears, and looking to spend around $200 shipped (or if you know of anywhere to buy them new for less than $350... as that's a little much for my wallet).

    iirc, they were found in some Passats, the Transporter vans, and euro mk3's(?), not sure if/where they can be found in the newer 02J trans or not. Let me know what you've got! Would need to be shipped to 49301 and will pay by paypal.

    i have a set out of a canadian passat TDI code is CHA for 250cad shipped.

    uyou are not going to find aCHA gear set for 150 shipped.
    the more comun CTN goes for 150 shipped.
    CHA is in the 200 + range always...
