Big enough to be a real motorcycle with real tires. But it only has 125cc (and is absolute silliness to ride). And it's available in Canada, although not in this colour scheme. And I have one

im looking to get a new scooter soon.
i want a ruckus because i love the bare bones minimalist style of them but they are pretty slow
lots of mod support and the posibility of swapping to a gy6 150 easily.
but lately i have been turned on by zumas because of the 2 stroke buzzing goodness.
and a 70cc big bore zuma tuned is as fast if not faster than a 150 swapped 4 stroke ruckus
chain driven derbi's are awesome
turbo efi zuma 125

Looking into buying one of these while I'm over here in Korea. Might have it shipped back when I am done or just sell it before I go.

^that looks very cool
going to look at an aprilia sr50 and a ruck this weekend. hopefully ill be bringing one of them home
they are both new with 0 miles at a dealer.
the aprilia is brand new 0 miles on the showroom floor..only catch is its an 09.
its a left over that they haven't been able to sell.
the ruck is a 2012 with 0 miles as well.
they said i can pick the aprilia up for 2500
basically the same price as the 2012 ruck
i think picking the aprilia is a better choice than the ruck considering they go for around 3500 new and do about 50mph out of the box compared to the 38mph or so the ruckus does.
i have to deal with a stretch of 45mph speed limit road on my planned commute to work where i plan on using the bike the most.
the sr50 is 2 stoke with direct injection.
looks identical to this.
anyone have any experience with ruckus' and modding for more speed without swapping to a 150 gy6.
what its take to get them to go 50mph?
keep in mind im 140lbs so im small
i love rucks and want one bad but im afraid im not going to be able to safely keep up with traffic.
last thing i want is some road rager running me off of the road

so how do you like this 125 cbr??
i rode my buddys new ninja 250 a couple days ago and actually kinda liked the fact i can actually keep up with traffic without trying compared to a small scooter.
the only thing i dont like about the ninja is the looks. even though the new ninja 250s are updated i still think they look kinda dated, and they are still carbed.
then i stumbled across the new cbr250.
narrow 1cyl, light, chea,p low seat, good handling, efi
seems like a perfect beginner bike.
and i think they look great.

The new cbr125 is freaking brilliant. It looks and feels much like a modern 600 except lighter, narrower, and obviously with no power. The engine begs to be wrung out at every opportunity and the riding position is quite comfortable. Handling is very flickable and confidence-inspiring. It tops out around 110 - 120 km/h under most conditions, good enough for back roads, juuuust enough to be able to go on the motorway (and on those, I normally stay in the right lane and go with the traffic flow there, which it will normally do without a problem). Motorways are not this bike's happy place but it will do it. On back roads, it's fabulous. Wringing it out for everything it's worth is fun as heck but at the same time, it just won't go fast enough to attract the wrong kind of attention while doing so. And 2.8 L/100 km consumption and $30/month full coverage insurance (in Ontario's rip-off insurance market, no less) help, too.
For the Americans, it looks like the cbr250 is as close as you can get but I've not ridden one of those.
