I'm selling my auto trans (09A) w/ TCM $900+shipping/paypal fees. It needs a new solenoid, which is easy to replace being that the transmission is off the car. I decided to go Big Turbo which is why I'm doing a 02J swap, a 5 speed manual.
The shop that is doing my swap is Mobile One Inc in Glenview, IL they are also the one's that diagnosed my transmission issue.
Txt if interested, serious buyers only 773-980-3362.
If you need i also have the whole tiptronic shifter assembly, the starter and a spare TCM as well.
This is a perfect swap option for all those 4 speed auto's out there.
Also open to reasonable trades with cash on top.
if you'd like check out www.1stvwparts.com and see how much a new rebuilt on is....
Automatic transaxle, Transaxle

This guy thought he would spend under $900 for a trans with under a 100k an Auto/Tiptronic trans at that. Why do people not understand with a transmission it's not like an engine doesn't matter really on mileage. Jason @ Mobile One thinks I should be selling it for way more.

Here is some helpful info for people interested in my transmissionhttp://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...&highlight=09A

Ok, kid.
You told me over the phone you "think" it has a solenoid issue, and you "think" it might be rebuilt, and that's why you're doing a swap.
Nowhere in the ad did you mention it has a serious issue as such, and if you "suspect" it's rebuilt, it probably was and is nearing the end of its useful life.
I'm not buying a trans with hidden issues you didn't disclose in the ad to replace my own transmission that has the same issues.
Being dishonest and talking sh** about people who expressed interest isn't going to help you sell this any faster.
All I did was ask how many miles were on it and how long you had it...you were the one who then spilled the beans on the "real" condition of the unit.
And don't get Jason and his good shop involved in your garbage.

Kid? you better check yourself before you wreck yourself. 1 i didn't tell you **** over the phone. It was over txt. 2. You know Jason so well, pick up the God DAMN phone call him and ask him what's wrong with my trans, considering it's his "good shop" that diagnosed my issueyou have a mouth use it, ask him, my car is still there he knows me. All over my ad's it states it has solenoid issue and " i think" came from Jason's mouth and his "good shop". NO TRANS HAS AN END LIFE, moron they get rebuilt, what a bag or rocks this guy is...point is buddy i'm not in a rush to sell it, i have a trans that is 1,500 as a core. I don't NEED the money i don't NEED your offer. You sir have a f-cked up car a need a part. You a real retard, you're trying to call me a con then telling me i "spilled" the beans on it's real condition.....you're a CERTIFIED NUT CASE. What is there to lie about with a trans???????????? i could have told you it has 30k on it the car was in an accident and i pulled the trans and by looking at a removed trans your ass wouldn't know the difference SOOOOOOOOOO POINT IS 30k-200k..........NOTHING TO HIDE on a trans........NO ONE BUYS NEW trans's they are ALL REBUILT!
Damn, gotta take these dumbass kids to school![]()

Haha intelligence and common sense will melt your brain, wont itAnd yes I'm as crazy as they come when it comes to communicating with mentally challenged people like yourself. You sir have a pleasant evening and great success to you and your search of a 0 mile new original 09A in the box transmission for $250....that may be pushing it let's shoot for $100

Whatever you typed up above isn't intelligence, nor are the rest of your desperate FS posts across the forums, and also how you just now fessed up in the first post and included information about a solenoid.
You should probably add what you told me and write that you suspect the unit has been rebuilt.
Although, I doubt you're going to win over any new buyers with this thread and your antics.

1. Never knew you could "read" desperation
2. Multiple post's is just good advertising NOT desperation, you on the other hand are in desperate need of a CLUE. If you see my multiple posts then check the date on them an how long I've had the solenoid information on there.
3. If I told you know what shop is doing my car and who diagnosed my trans issue why in the world would I or someone else try and con you be it they just provided you with information on where you can verify the facts on the transmission DUH....Now if that didn't CLICK the 1st time feel free to re-read that last statementI should have probably told you that i suspect the trans is rebuilt?!?!?! ALL TRANSMISSIONS ARE.....how is this not sinking in your thick skull, OMG you are amazingly stupid
4."i suspect the trans is rebuilt" does NOT mean it is....it means I gave you the shops name....you said you know him very well......welll geesh i can't talk for you cuz you obviously want to verify it for yourself......what a spoon fed kid, does your mama still wipe your ass.....be a big boy do your homework and make a decision for yourself. Similar to buying a car.
I can't believe i just had to explain this......![]()

JATCO 09A transmissions are junk and just a solenoid will not fix whatever your concern is, I can say with 90% certainty. You can't conpare a 100k mile junk box to a $4k new fully functional unit from a reputable company. Here's an idea, you should have just fixed that trans solenoid if you think that will repair it and verified that it would operate properly then you could come on here, talk like you are and tell potential customers they're idiots, with some ground to stand on...
#33
Well hello there Mr. Mechanic aka troll. 1) this is what a reputable shop Mobile One Inc told me 2) I can compare whatever I want if they charge 1,500 JUST FOR A CORE aka a junk box 3) i didn't fix it because the labor to fix with parts...aka dropping the trans to get to the valve body would cost the same as to do a manual swap (a good deal on parts) 4) don't buy it i do not care, i don't care for your two cents, i'm here to sell to intelligent people that understand mechanics i'm not here to educate and "beg" people to buy my stuff. 5) spend 4k on a new trans i don't care be an idiot, it's called natural selection LMFAO you fool.
#34
The only person who's a fool here is you and any idiot that buys your junk box. I have more experience with these transmissions in one year then you will in 6 lifetimes. If you're so mechanically savy and intelligent, why aren't you doing the easy ass manual swap yourself? Why are you lining someone else's pockets with money to do such an easy job, know it all? Why did YOU pay for someone else to diagnose your pile of crap? And you want to talk about natural selection. If you can get $1500 for a core on a junk box then why don't you do that jackass, sounds to me like you're the one being naturally self selected as an idiot. You're going to try and con people into buying your **** that's broke, like every other O9A JATCO trans out there for less then what you could just turn it in for...
On a side note, don't drag Jay and Logan into your bull****. They have a great reputable shop and schmucks like you don't help them in any way.
