Thread: 90 coupe quattro 88k miles in ma

  1. 03-29-2012 05:24 PM #1
bought this car recently and just dont have time or the need for it really...i wanted to make it a project but plans changed and my other audi has gotten my time and money. the car runs great and i did drive it before putting it away but it needs a battery ,brakes are soft and could just need to be bled and the tires are old and dry rotted.

the old owner said it had been garaged since 96 and the body shows it..there is 0 rust! the paint isnt the best but for 22 years old i guess it isnt that bad. not many other coupes around with this little mileage.

i changed the airfilter for a K&N dropin and did a euro plate tub and thats it.. asking what i paid which is 3K

lol.. I can get a car loan but I am finishing paying on one now for my 99 audi wagon, once that is paid off, I wanted to pay off and use the wagon as daily and get one of these really low priced 90 quattro's and get the 034 turbo kit and build from there,..

3k might be tooo low for a loan, and too high for my credit card.. BUT if no one picks it up... and its still around 4 months from now...

that's a really good price. don't take a dime less. this car deserves someone who won't cheap out on it and let it fall apart... (personally i would ask 4k for a 88k coupe in this condition)

these cars are like your family heirlooms, you gotta keep it in the family, and you don't want your uncle buck to get his grimy hands on it.

Thanks man. I would like to sell it to free up the garage space and a lil play money but I won't be heart broken if it doesn't sell.

Can you take some pictures of the front control arms and subframe areas?
Very interested, with cash, but worried about rust since this was a NH car.
Text/call or email me please, thanks
