Thread: Many, many years ago I sold a mk2 to a kid here in the PNW (worked at a dealer)...where is it now.

    I sadly no longer have pics or the kids name. But the car was an '85 Silver GTI small bumper car with big bumpers w/ small doors. It had gunmetal Racing Dynamics multi spoke wheels and a rallye golf nose. It was from California. The car had a built motor from Ron Wood at VW Specialties in Huntington Beach. The car had an audi 2l block, 1.8 gti head, TT cams, downpipe and magnaflow exhaust. In the interior the drivers seat was an aftermarket Recaro seat (not sure which model anymore) the other seats were factory.

    Anyone know this car or recall it. This was probably back in 2001/2

    Most people in here these days were about 7 when you sold that car but best of luck finding it again.

    If you can find anything with a VIN the dmv might be able to look up the current owner. by now im sure its a long shot to find an old registration but worth a look.

    The HD tanked that had all the info on it many years ago along with any pics.

    If thats it, it was parted out and I got the shell for a race car project. It is now being turned into a Chump Car
