    Don't have my own shop

I keep Brian Cullingford gainfully employed and well funded with my British car stuff

Italian stuff goes to an brilliant mechanic friend that usually only does Ferraris and Lambos but he makes an exception for me.

Small air cooled niggles get done by Egon Motors

Genius design, build and tuning for my Formula car is done by a very talented and interesting person that likes to stay out of the limelight...but his knowledge, thought proceeses and build work is utterly amazing....you will see eventually.

My son looks after my Alto Works and Subaru needs.

And a friend/neighbour does all my day to day servicing if I am too busy to do so.

I only work from June to September but run a 24/7 operation....and thats car season which kinda sucks as I dont have much time to tinker on my own.... i used to do car stuff in the garage at home in winter but now i go south.

Bill is legendary in the Formula V and SV world... is your best friend in this area? Always looking for VW air cooled mechanical talent as the good guys get so backed up with work.

There is a huge niche mechanic opportunity for a young guy to learn the air cooled world and service those clients well.

Here is my street legal 1965 Formula Vee.. old pic as she is still in shop finishing up a total mechanical refurbishment (weighs 825 pounds and has a Porsche 2.0 litre 914 engine tuneable from 125-185 hp)...125 on the street is insane giving a computer modelled theoretcial 0-60 mph time of 3.442 seconds...think Enzo speed.... a wonderful driving experience...car is now lowered for better air management and has a couple nice large carbs popped up through the rear fibreglass cover.

Don't get me wrong, it sounds great just performs like a giant piece of sh!t! Once the fuel temp gets up there it smooths out a bit, but not much.

I'll be out tonight, not for long though, and without my car. Gonna verify all the cv's are good, and then I'll limp it in for an alignment/repairs in the morn...

If anyone has a spare set of MK3 2.0 axles laying around that are in decent shape. Please bring them out tonight. I'm thinking my problem may be axle related. Thanks guys!
