so a little more info, driving the car turned off the TPMS and the ESC lights and they are fixed.
However the kessy is still an issue. Im able to drive the car as long as i hold the key fob right on the button an push it (recovery mode IIRC).
I was able to program the keys to the car and they lock and unlock the doors. the car says key not in range until its held right to the button then it will recognise it, do the keys just need programming or something? the door handles dont work as well.
Used highline 5k0 937 087 G Z5y B 895.
Everything is working except the kessy system.

cecm highline swap... kessy no longer working

Help!
Swapped to a highline CECM in my 2012 JSW 6 speed, nav and panoramic roof and it seems everything is working except the sensor on the handle of the car to lock and unlock. Ive searched all the coding and cant seem to find anything on it as well.
Also getting an error for the TPMS and the stabilization control ESC.
Anyone have any idea?

I'm not an expert on these things, but AFAIK that module is for a 2010. Maybe there is a compatibility issue due to the 2010s not having KESSY. Have you tried the VCDS forum?

Clear the codes and see what comes back. Also, check 19-CAN Gateway and make sure the modules you have in your car are still checked.

checked 16 and all is installed. Might have to install the original CECM and see if theres something im missing id assume the keys some how just need programmed into the kessy or something because its saying the keys are not in range

Kinda glad you beat me to the deal on this. Sounds like our 2012's with Keyless might not he compatible. Good luck and I hope you get it worked out. I plan on adding the same to my car so I will be following this closely.

spoke to a contact at my dealer and he seemed to think it could be done in just an hour. Programming the keys in the CECM basicly but he wouldnt know for sure with out scanning it. Im going to contact ross tech first and see what they have to say.

well spoke to ross tech ( VAGCOM) and they seem to think this CECM isnt compatible with the kessy system so with that said im going to order a different one.

Hi Patrick,
Sorry for the delay. Per the online parts management system (PartsLink24) by VIN the current replacement module for this vehicle is 5K0-937-087-T-Z5Q. Please ask your local dealer to confirm that using their ETKA system.
5K0-937-087-G-Z5Y on the other hand looks like a M.Y. 2010 module using a specific range from late '09 - early '10 and no doubt prior to KESSY modules in any market. I suspect the proper direct replacement will resolve all of the issues.
FWIW, I haven't had any reports of the 087 units not supporting fog lamps, so if that was the reason for upgrading, you should be fine.

OK, I ordered 5K0-937-087-T-Z5Q,
according to my vin this is the direct replacement to run the HID's and fogs. my dealer said that they should have it within the week so hopefully its here Friday!

So to clarify did you just order a replacement cecm for your model year car( I have read that all replacements are highline, just not 100% this is true) or just what you where able to determine between Ross Tech and the dealer. good news everybody!
everything is working now as it should be! not sure what it did but i went out to my car during lunch and opened the rear hatch and it opened up just fine then went to the handle and it unlocked. no idea but its working!!!!!
