Right by where the intake connects to the throttle body there are 2 small hoses that connect to holes on the intake. The circumference of one is slightly larger that the other.

On the ends of the hoses, each has a circular clasp to connect it to the intake. The clasp on my smaller hose broke and fell off. I've been using electrical tape to hold it in place, but obviously that isn't a very efficient method. Does anyone know the name of this "clasp" so I can search for a replacement?

A small hose clamp should work.

That won't work because of the style of fittings.

Are you close to a dealer?

Yeah, I tried the clamp and you're right; the end of the hose is smaller than the opening on the intake (it slides in it). I may try a dealer, but was trying to avoid paying what I expect to be $30 for a $2 part.

I found they type of clasp I need at Advance today, but it was a tad too small. The electric tape is holding it decently for now, but obviously isn't a permanent fix. If I find the part I need I'll share, as this piece broke easily and I'm sure others have been in my position.

I've always been afraid to take those off.

    Sent using flux capacitor.

the larger "hose" is for the secondary air injection.

the smaller one is for the block breather.
