They were used tires, with no tread. After an alignment, itll be fine.

have you done anything to this car other than coilovers and wheels? maintenace? to me, there is more to "coming a long way" than coils and wheels. have you considered taking this car to another level? rust repair? dent removal? tires with tread? etc..

Ive done all the maintenence on it. Pretty much everything in the engine is new. It doesnt have the original motor in it either.

Anyone that knows me, know that i dont care about how fast my car goes. I was planning on sanding it down, and pulling all the dents this summer, but i just havent had the time. The trunk still needs to be pulled out from when i got rear ended.

Photoshoot yesterday, ill post more pics later

i'm pretty surprised too. honda-tech sucks though. oddly, a bunch of vw enthusiasts are fairly accepting of a honda in their midst (in danny's case, anyway. i've gotten nothing but hate from all but 1 or 2 people for my car)

I know more people on vortex, then i do on honda-tech. Plus, i am posting in the local forums...

I may own a honda, but an 89 civic is close enough to the same as a mk3 jetta. Ive even used many vw parts on my honda. Haha.

Someday ill have another vw. Someday. :/

Anyways, to keep you guys up to date. I got rid of my 205/50/16 tires and got 205/40/16, and slammed it more. Im probably switching back to 15's for more low.

I may start body work next week. Hopefully.
