Thread: Hpa Intake Manifold clone, throttlebody collides with watertemp sensor

    Hi!

I`m using a Hpa Clone of the old Intake manifold style on my 2006 Turbo R32 MkV DSG.
I live in sweden so there aren`t that many builds like this to look in too.

Has any of you guys heard that the throttlebody could collied with a tempsensor located on the watercoolantpipe bolted to the engine??

There are 2 holes for the sensor so I tried moving it but it did not help, still collieds.
The clone of the intake is from turbo-parts.de
But I find this very comfusing, this would cause problem for everyone using it if I`m not wrong here?
And I cant turn the throttlebody any other way as it seems.

This is a pic of a R32 MkIV engine, but it looks the same:
