SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

i was sold a set of nicely powder coated G54 brakes for a mk3 ABA (10.1"/256mm) and found out they were in fact brakes from a g60 Corrado (11"/280mm)....i used the powdercoated calipers but had to reuse my old carriers for my smaller 10.1 brakes...so i have these for sale. these are pretty hard to find and great for people wanting to upgrade to bigger brakes as well as replace old or worn out brake parts. you can paint your brakes all ya want, nothing beats powder coating them.

    NEW PRICE DROP
$80 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states or picked up in NYC for a better deal.

part (casting) number is clearly 32323538/1. if you use these as an upgrade to 11" brakes on your mk3 2.0 with its calipers you might need to shave 1-2mm off to fit new pads properly...if you use these on a g60 (or i think certain vr6 mk3's w g54 calipers) there is no adjustment or modification necessary.

If you're going to do a 11.0" caliper and rotor conversion, why not just get 11.0" calipers and avoid the Mickey Mouse necessary to shoehorn incompatible parts together?

If you buy 11.0 calipers from a VR or Corrado G60 to use with these 11.0" calipers, you don't have to make any modifications to make the calipers and rotors fit with the brake pads or rotors. The right calipers (without caliper carriers) should be easier to find than a set of these caliper carriers since they were used on numerous cars (with different caliper carriers).

Easier still? Buy a set of matching 11.0" calipers and caliper carriers from a Corrado G60 or Passat VR (and some Passat 16Vs) to begin with.

I think you mispoke there but I get what you are saying...and thx for clarifying/more info--yes if you pickup single piston calipers from a corrado these CARRIERS will match up for a proper 11inch brake setup. If you use different g54 calipers from mkiii etc apparently you have to match w pads for the mkiii. You can get junkyard calipers from lotsa different cars to match these carriers pretty simply but as stated the carriers are harder to find/more rare. If ya already have a corrado w single piston 11in calipers then these are just a nicer set of carriers for your current application. You have many and different options for upgrades if you have a different VW w/ 9.4-10.1 inch brake rotors. Let me know if you have questions...i'm learning about these brakes as this FS thread progresses. Thx
