Bump....offers welcome

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
i was sold a set of nicely powder coated G54 brakes for a mk3 ABA (10.1"/256mm) and found out they were in fact brakes from a g60 Corrado (11"/280mm)....i used the powdercoated calipers but had to reuse my old carriers for my smaller 10.1 brakes...so i have these for sale. these are pretty hard to find and great for people wanting to upgrade to bigger brakes as well as replace old or worn out brake parts. you can paint your brakes all ya want, nothing beats powder coating them.
$80 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states or picked up in NYC for a deal.
part (casting) number is clearly 32323538/1. if you use these as an upgrade to 11" brakes on your mk3 2.0 with its calipers you might need to shave 1-2mm off to fit new pads properly...if you use these on a g60 (or i think certain vr6 mk3's w g54 calipers) there is no adjustment or modification necessary.

Are you sure this is a set (left and right caliper carriers)?
I've never seen a set where both caliper carriers have the same part number, and the parts books show different part numbers for left and right side caliper carriers.
Why didn't you use these caliper carriers on your car with the calipers that came with them and upgrade to Corrado G60 11.0" rotors?
#22
good questions! i had to look at them again to figure out the #'s. these are definitely a PAIR/SET (left and right calipers).
there are different numbers on the sides...it says "ON 1114 4" on one and the other says "ON 1853(??) 2" i think...maybe its CN? the number i originally posted as well as these are CASTING numbers from Lucas/Girling...i actually do not know the VW part # but these are off a Corrado G60 (g54 single piston calipers). these will work for the upgrade to 280mm rotors on g60/vr6/2.0 cars or as replacements for current carriers. [pics below!!]
i couldn't use these because i use 14inch Borbets with Blizzaks during winter....these require 15inch+ wheel. i also already had all my brake parts bought and didnt want to change my plan up.
i got these in from a shop in Pennsylvania special ordered awhile back and had my brake parts all ordered over a span of time (as well as engine parts over the course of a year to save money) and literally went in to my work garage one night and decided to complete the upgrade on my car's brakes...i had bought the racing blue ate fluid, ss lines, 10.1 Brembo slotted rotors, Hawk street (hps) pads...and i literally installed these on one side and couldn't figure out why my pads weren't fitting properly...i noticed the pads were also sitting quite far out from the center of the rotor and it was a tight fit....so i pulled my old calipers and carriers up and compared and realized they werent a direct match. i was tired and it was late and i was pissed. i should have checked when i first got them and spent all the money for rebuild and powdercoating but all i looked at was Girling 54 and figured it was all good. so i took my old carriers to the wire wheel and cleaned them up and sprayed them with engine enamel and let them set a bit and regreased everything with caliper grease and so i have powdercoated calipers with painted carriers on my car. it was an extra 3 hrs of work and waiting for the paint to dry enough for install etc.
the powdercoating job is excellent and this is a good price point/deal. let me know if you have more questions or want to make an offer. just gotta get rid of them at this point along with other bits as i've finally finished the majority of my build. hoping someone can make use of good parts and i can recoup a little money lost. make a reasonable offer!
