Traded in the routan - couple of items for sale

Finally traded in the routan. It was 09 with 39k miles on it. Lots of issues, the car needed new front brake pads, new rotors (again) but out of warranty. Some little things were not working and again, it being out of warranty was costly (front windows not going up and down properly, passenger window screamed every time it was used, rubber piece that ran along the roof was bent out of shape and looked like it was going to come off). Also, the whole oil consumption was worrisome. Have to put 1qt of oil every 1k miles. Can't trust my wife to remember to do it every time.

Anyway, I don't mean to gripe about the car, as it served us well for 3 years.

I am selling 4 firestone winterforce snow tires mounted on 16 inch black steel wheels with wheel covers (one cover has a crack but works fine). Tires have 8400 miles on them. I'm located in centra/north NJ, and am looking to get $300k for the set. I bought new for $600+ and used two winters.

I'm also selling the front and 2nd row VW OEM monster mat. They retail for $120, looking for $50.

Do you want to make an offer? Or state what you think a fair price may be?

I'm looking for less than half of retail, on a set that has a lot of life let. Certainly much more than half of it's life. I would say 75% of life left.

But I have no use for them, so I am open to offers.

I think He is just referring to your price of $300k or $300,000.

$300 on the other hand is a great price.

sorry to hear about your troubles .. anyway could you share what you got for trading it in? PM would be fine if you prefer it ... we did fine w/o snows and already have the monster mats (which are great BTW). I'm going to update my earlier thread on my '09 about the recent trip I took but stories like yours are disconcerting as I'm quickly approaching the end of the regular warranty (end of August)

No, not really. Was in Niagara Falls 2 weeks ago. Will be going to Hunter Mountain a few times this winter, but nothing planned between now and then.
