Maf is maxed on 42lb tune. So no point of 60lb tune on that maf.

my vr spun bearings because i treated it like crap.
i am starting a rebuild this summer and i was hoping to max out my setup since it will only be a track/meet car.
so i figure ill start with a tune.... but i dont want to buy this promaf.
so to the question
are there any 630 files that do not require the promaf?
things i would like to avoid
SEM
MS

i might do a new 12v swap so feel free to suggest flash files too.

jeff atwood/united motorsport has a 630cc 4" tune for mk4 vr6's. Its what i have on my mk2.

Jeff used to offer a non Pro-MAF verison of the 630 tune for Mk3's a while back. Driveability and power were both really good (it actually behaved very similar to the 440) however as TBT stated the stock MAF is essentially useless above the 440cc fueling capacity so the 630 tune was superceded by the Pro-MAF which can actually use the potential of the larger injectors. FWIW I still have my non Pro-MAF setup sitting somewhere in a box at home. You can also contact him directly, maybe he would be up for burning you a copy of the old file.
