This is the stock unit that came in my 2006 GTI. I live in Germany now and European maps do not work in this unit. The MFD2 should work (it's your job to be sure) with any MkV Golf/Jetta/GTI/R32 as well as the B6 Passat and Eos.
It works perfectly and I will include the Sirius box that is installed underneath the passenger seat as well as the Version 3B Map DVD and an antenna. It will control the 6-disc changer as well as the original iPod interface (does not display info on screen). $450 for everything shipped/insured.
Let me know if you have any questions. I haven't pulled the Sirius unit from the car yet, so there are no pictures.

Does the Auxiliary Input work? I have a premium 7 currently installed at the moment. I was wondering on upgrading to this system.

What exactly do you mean by aux-in?
It can control the 6-CD changer, the iPod input and and the USB input that are most often found in the center console (MkV) or glovebox (B6).
I'm not sure if there is a mini-plug adaptor for this unit... at least not from VW.

As in is there a feature to switch over to Auxiliary input if I have a Auxiliary already (from the premium 7 radio)

Gotcha...
That's a heck of a question. I'll have to look into that.
The aux-in that you have already is OEM, installed from the factory?

Ok... I'm going to ask over on vwnavi. Hopefully I can get back with you tomorrow.![]()

hved999,
Have you seen this thread: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...ary-input-(aux)
It looks like it can be done if you're comfortable with changing the wiring up a little bit.![]()
