This car has been "ready to drive" for a month or better.. it has been illegal to drive for longer.. I finally got to put a couple hundred miles on it this weekend. I should have done this a long time ago......

Thats about it, New parts from axles out to hubs, cleaned up some trim, hunted a few "westy" parts, dusted off the Turbos, took us about 6 months from dropping it off to paint till today..

Love it hate it, whatever, this thing is fun to drive.. no im not lowering it..

I am waiting on a friend of mine to come down and chase my friend in his 24v rado and my 24v, through tunnels, underpasses, ect...

The car is an NA rocket, you know how much fun a 12v mk2 is, this literally is 2x the fun. Its considerably faster than a 12v mk2, even that shricked mk2.

I am going to get a couple more pictures later in the week. I am not sure when my videographer will be here.

Had a great time going to and from sowo in this car.

Had it weighed before we left. Fully fueled, no driver, 2250lbs.

Specs on an 85-87 golf in base trim like mine says it was 2375 lbs. I am missing the boat anchor bumpers, i have slightly lighter seats, no ac parts, no radio parts, no power steering, that's about all I have cut out. Running mk3 brakes and coils, but it is a full interior.
