UPDATE POST #32
Recently, my wife's previous position was eliminated with the ending of a contract that had been going on for some time. They provided her with a company car, a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, that was pretty decent to drive, and a good "first American Sedan experience". However, with the ending of the contract, the car is being taken away. Luckily, my wife has another new job, but no new car just yet (currently we are driving her 2010 Kia Soul). But this is a job through a different contractor that will provide her with another car.
So, TCL, what car will she get?

My legend dates back to the 12th Century you see. My legend is quite old. The 12th Century was a long time ago. It was summer and so cold from the snow because it was actually winter or maybe it was Monday. It could have been a Thursday or possibly a Saturday or was it Tuesday though it could have been Wednesday or a Monday.

What doe sthe position involve? Does she have to have a professional image? I know people who get Cadillacs as company cars, and I know people who get Hyundai Accents. Depends on the job Image
Easy like Sunday Morning.

I want to know more about her position...know what I mean?![]()

Her original position involved representing OTC drugs for migranes and acid reflux.
Now she will be a representative for 3 prescription drugs.

I helped out the 9% when I bought my Mazdaspeed3 new from the dealer and she helped also when she bought her 2010 Soul new from the dealer...I think we are covered on that aspect.
I am really hoping for something in comparable size to the Malibu but I don't believe she will be carrying the sheer amount of samples like she was before so something smaller, like a Matrix, probably isn't out of the question.

Funny my wife is a drug rep too. Her past two company cars have been a subaru forester and legacy. She just switched companies and now has a Malibu. Car was brand new but whoever installed the sun visors had filthy hands so the interior is quite dirty

One of my friends just went on board with a drug sales firm. His company car is a base model Saab 9-3.

Well, as of right now we have the pleasure of driving around in a 2011 Mitsubishi Galant but I keep asking my wife if she has heard more about what car she might be getting.
This is where things get a little interesting. When I first asked her a month ago what car she was getting she said a 2012 Malibu. Then when I asked her the other day about when she might be getting her car so she can return the Galant, she said they have to make her car.
"Make it?" I said, "If it is a 2012 they should already have them ready"
"No, its a 2013, and they have to make it" she says.
So, APPARENTLY, she will be getting a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu for her new company car. I will update it once I get some seat time. If it is indeed a 2013, it will be a good comparison to the 2011 she originally had.

In my valet days i'd run from drug company workers as they would come with a fake smile, repeating 30x thank yous just to top it off a big dollar tip.![]()

Having been detailed hundreds of times by prescription drug reps, I'd say there is a 99.9% chance that your wife is super hot. Good work.![]()

We never had to worry about any costs. Repairs, tolls, tickets, gas. Everything was paid for.
With that being said, the Hondas were put through some pretty decent abuse and never left anyone stranded from what I remember. I had a brand new (at the time) Mercedes and found myself at the dealership SIX times for the same thing. Driver side headlight would keep going out.
I disagree though, although the ML350 had a bunch of buttons I could've easily left out, I wouldn't put it over the Hondas interior considering the Odyssey was base model/boring.

Alright, so I LIED! But not because I knew any better.
The Galant was garbage and we were so glad to give it back to the rental shop.
My wife absolutely hated her job that was supposed to give her the Malibu. They never gave it to her and that, plus countless other things led her to go searching for another job. She ended up getting another job in the same field that will also give her a company car, and guess what...its a CHEVROLET!
She is supposed to get her new rental today so I can update on how that will be (supposed to be an SUV) but I will also post images of the new ride once it is received. I do know that she chose black interior and "Champagne Ice" color (not my choice but will hide dirt well).

Any personal experience with these?

I rented an Equinox this winter and it was adequate. Plenty of room, fairly decent ergonomics and comfort. The V-6 quickly ran out of power at altitude, but no surprise there.
All in all, it was not unpleasant to drive and live with.

I work in the industry and our reps get dodge chargers or "an equivalent." I think some companies give reimbursement on a personal vehicle, but there is no way I would want to put that kind of mileage on a personal vehicle.
