This one was the display piece and as such has a little ding on the top of the case (just visible in the first pic just past 11 o'clock) so they ordered me a replacement, telling it would be 4-12 weeks for it to come in. They also told me to just wear the one that I have and not worry about if it gets damaged. My new untouched replacement has just shown up.

Bloomingdale's customer service gets a big thumbs up from me.

That is correct. I think that is the newest version of the Gulf Monaco.

There are a few different gulf Monacos... Some MUCH more expensive than others..
the black Monaco 24 in the video is 9k ish...

I met his daughter a few years ago, and really started to appreciate the man. (I'm too young to remember him).

Slightly on topic, I can see myself spontaneously picking up a Daytona on Paul Newman birthday or anniversary of his death one of these years.
