    looks good

get a bottle of this for your black trim. that other stuff will wash off. 2 coats of this and you'll be good for a year wipe off whatever gets on your paint with a wet rag.

to be honest the back to black has stayed for a long time now, granted i did a very thorough job on the trim.

Maybe they seen your headliner and got pissed off?

While that sucks, you got lucky with that damage.

Be glad your plate tub is in one piece. Tail lights are EASY to find. Plate tubs on the other hand....

Plate tub? Nah man...that's .nothing, I was thinking more along the lines of quarter panel damage or damage at the lower panel below the trunk lid, damage in that area would have completely sucked.

True it would have sucked but at least repair panels are available. I'm still on the look for a mint plate tub. Mines close but still broken where it meets the tails.

Reminds me of my current Jetta when I brought her home. Only she was so far faded in spots it looked white. Tail lights are easy to get, and so are plate tubs. Mine was broken, Bought a tub for the car for almost nothing and another one on the cheap too.

The only thing I dislike is that where I live now daily I see at least 5 Red big bumper Jettas, all rolling steelies, and one other with quad rounds. But to the best of me knowing mines the only one my way with black bumpers and a GTX spoiler.

What's all involved with the 134 conversion? Is there a write-up on here somewhere?

I notice there's a chip in the paint near where you got hit. Take care of it now or it'll rust. Just my $.02. Little stuff like that would bother me lol but it's your car so do what you want.

Car looks fresh! I personally like the steelies, everyone has the RML's. And she looks good on the Racelands

As for the conversion, there isn't much to it as long as your car still has pressure in the lines all you need is to spend the $15 bucks for the fittings I showed and install them and take it to your local mieneke and have them recover the r 12 and refill with r134a, if you are patient enough a the new r4 is about to be released to the public and it is supposedly better for the enviornment and gets colder. All cars after 2012 will have this refrigerant.

Maybe I can do a diy for the conversion, but the real problem is with finding leaks and rebuilding the compressor if needed.

Yeah I have decided to just keep the steelies I have on it, space out the Rears and roll.the fenders to drop it more.

On a side note, I took the helper springs out and it still rides halfway decent and it corners way better now. Pretty good bang for the buck if you ask me. I'm probably going to put the helpers back in because I have them jacked way up right now and its still super low, just to see how I like it

Edit; wheels are stupid expensive btw. So if I get any it will be the last thing I do with it haha
