Help! My beloved 88 16v Gti is in need of some professional help. It's a SoCal car that had a great shop for when my limited garage skills were not enough. It was driven to the Ft. Campbell, KY area and never found a good shop that wanted to take care of her needs. She struggled through two periods of neglect while her owner was deployed, and towed to the Lawton/Ft. Sill, OK area. The car was garaged with a leaking sun roof and an electrical short somewhere. When she gets to run she's happy. Help her get out on the road again. Need a good shop willing to work on small issues

wichita falls sucks. Only place i can think of i German Autokraft in Iowa Park, about 10 minutes outside of WF. I took my mk4 there a couple times. Be prepared to pay a **** ton for labor. Good luck

I have to agree here. German Autokraft II in Iowa Park is your best bet. I took my 92 GLI 16v there when I lived there and they were able to take good care of it. They're not cheap, but they are fair and Lazlo (owner) isn't going to jerk you around, so IMO its worth it.

Okay, make a reasonable offer and take it away. It's my first car so be gentle...
I just can't keep it any more. I'm going away and it can't follow. Someone give her a good home.
