Do it..

B5 S4 Avant in a manual, leather interior... dealer near me is asking for $7k w/ 157k miles on the odo. Exterior is pretty decent, aside from a crack in the front bumper by the fog light. Interior is great... I just have to decide it's worth the trouble! I know B5 S4s can be hard on the wallet, what do you guys think?
Apparently it drives great. I'm waiting for the dealership to take the car through their service department to see what kind of work, if any, it needs. Pending a clean Carfax and clean tour through their shop, I may just pick this thing up today.
Thoughts?

in my limited experience.. yeah the cars are more expensive to fix, harder to fix, etc.. but the sense of pride you get when you plug in that last section on wiring harness and clip in the motor covers is wayyy surperior to any feeling you'll get with another car. plus 7k for an avant.. just do it.

color? pics?
VW's are great an all, but they have their purpose and one day I'll figure that out.

do it. ask about the turbos if theyre stock tell him theyre gunna have to be changed soon, check for the aux water pump isnt leaking (pink dried up g12 behind the intake manifold youll prob need a flashlight to see) and try and get the price lower if you can cus of the bumper i think a new bumper is like 1600.. other than that do it, theyre a pain but they are so worth the suffering

I would be driving it home if you didn't beat me there.
They tried to sell me your 330i though!
FYI, I ran the VIN through the dealer, super complete service history.
