Other things I forgot to mention:
-car has a clear bra installed on the hood and fenders
-I have all three keys for the car (2 fobs, 1 vallet)
-I have the original window sticker for the car!

Two other things I'd like to add that are on the car:
-PYSpeed LED rear license plate lights
-R36 brushed aluminum dead pedal

Interior is immaculate. Carpet floor mats have never been used (monster mats since day 1). Leather is perfect... no cracks and looks brand new.

I've been very lucky with all three VW/Audi's I've owned so far and have loved each of them in their own way. I have to say my favorite so far was the MKIV R32 because it was a pure driver's car. Everything was so tight (that's what she said) and the exhaust note was raw. Loved the 6-speed too. The B6 S4 was definitely a huge leap forward in luxury and in power. With 350 hp it felt like a freaking locomotive. But it guzzled gas like I've never seen. The MKV R32 I currently own is sort of a combination of the MKIV R32 and the S4. It can be loud and raw when you want it to be, but for normal driving it's nice and refined like the Audi. Kind of hard to explain but I hope that answered your question![]()

It's a shame to see this mint R sitting in my garage! Someone take it, love it, DRIVE it!

Update: The car will be here in Norcal until August 10th. The next day I'll be moving to NJ and would love to leave the car here with a happy new owner as opposed to shipping it back east.
Wouldn't be the end of the world to bring this thing back east and be able to test it out in the snow next winter![]()

is the 25k asking price with or without mods? seriously interested this beauty.
#13
It'd probably help your sale if the car was registered in California. By no means is it cheap, but that's an extra expense the next owner would rather not deal with.![]()
#14
mbp: 25k is for the car stock, which reflects it's current value according to KBB (that's without factoring in the enthusiast/limited run car factor). The mods will be available for the buyer to buy at greatly reduced prices. Come check her out!
DG7: I never bothered registering the car in CA since I knew I was only going to be living here for 1 year. Gotta love the USAF![]()

Some more photos (the full set is already loaded up on autotrader - follow the link posted above). I've had a few people come to check the car out so far, but only one made a reasonable offering. Let me know if you'd like to come and see the car... I'm available on most weekday nights and on weekends. Loco685@gmail.com.

I would also be willing to trade for an immaculate, low mile, well-maintained, close-to-stock 2004 R32... if those even exist anymore! Of course there would have to be some cash on top of the MKIV![]()

Car had a 4-hour, wheels-off detail today. Everything is looking, smelling, feeling mint! It's amazing what a couple coats of Einzett can do to DBP paint... especially in the sun![]()

It's not $24,000 but would you take $15000 cash?

Sure I'll take $15,000 cash! That sounds perfect... right on the money actually seeing that the blue book is $25k.

Good Looking R,
Just an objective opinion: When you put aftermarket parts on a car, you can't use the KBB Value effectively anymore. Warranty becomes a big question at that point being that some dealers will instantly decline when seeing any aftermarket parts. Also there has been a big deflation in R32 value since the Golf R landed here in the states.
GLWS, if I were closer to NorCal I'd consider![]()

Thanks for the advice Evil Empire. The beauty of the parts that I have installed on my car is that within 2 hours I can have the car 100% back to stock. Gotta love bolt-ons!

Took a look at the Golf R again yesterday... I can't believe what they are charging for it! This one was in Walnut Creek, a very expensive suburb of SF, and they wanted $41,000!!! During the test drive the engine was so quiet I couldn't even tell if it was on or not. So sad that the growl of the VR6 is dying![]()

Car can be purchased stock or with my light, tasteful mods which can be worked into a deal.
