I'm honestly really impressed, both exterior and interior look fantastic.. the 3/4 front view gives me some reminders of the RX7. Overall this is going to be a killer car, even the interior looks like a huge leap forward.![]()

I could deal without the LEDs. Copycats piss me off. Aside from that, it looks awesome!
So let me get this straight? Your engine is 1.8-liters, and my pop is 2?

The back end view is amazing, wish it was in the original Viper Red color though! Has yet to be a non awesome Viper IMO, love them all....

I'm on the fence about the interior. It does look good. However, the Viper dash was SUPPOSED to be basically just a flat panel to hold the important gauges, surrounded by a modern Cobra bodywork to just barely cover a huge engine, big brakes, and good suspension. The essense of a powerful car, not to be so refined and "normal."
It looks like a nice place to be, but is that really what a Viper/Cobra is all about?

I mean, the Viper was conceived while Lutz was driving in his Cobra replica, asking "why can't we build a car like this again?" Don't know if it should be turned into "just another front engine Italian supercar" i.e. 599 lite.

Care to expand on this at all? I really like every detail on this Viper, and it looks a ton better than the last model (which looked a bit like an S2000).
I remember that the first gen Viper had a hood that was $11K or something. I forgot who it was that told me that, hopefully he's on here still to comment.

Can't quite place the reason why but the front end bothers me deeply for some reason. Maybe the smallish headlights. Not quite sure though. Love the rear end, body lines, interior and specs though, looks like a great update.
Maybe it's just the lighting and angle from that first pic. I can't access Flickr at work so I'll have to wait until after work to see the full gallery. Guess I'll reserve my opinion until then.

I was watching the live reveal, and I love everything about it.
The interior has finally caught up to modern standards along with the features and gadgets. If this came in at maybe $90k, that would be one serious car for not a lot of money.
And if I had $90k, it would be a VERY hard choice between this and the GT-R.

You can definitely tell, I can see a lot of Granturismo in the rear end. And that isn't a bad thing. I'm sorta torn about how they made it more refined, I liked how all the previous Vipers were just ridiculous and borderline unusable. But that being said, I'd probably choose one of these over a Z06, possibly even a ZR1 (...possibly), and I've never been able to say that before.
Yeah, as others have said, its definitely not new, I'm actually pretty sure Vipers have always had 6-lugs.

I am Corvette fan so I will always pick the Corvette over a Viper, but it is nice to see another high end American sports car. I am sure when the C7 comes out, there are going to be some pretty epic battles.

Another view of the front end makes me redact my thoughts on the look. This gives me a better idea of the front end's depth and looks less goofy to me. Looks excellent!

Excited about the Viper back in the ALMSThe press release said 2012
I'm gonna guess towards the end of the season. Can't wait for it to duke it out with the Corvette. I'm not gonna expect them at Lemans this year. But hopefully in 2013.

Looks stunningly gorgeous!
Oh and even though it's not been mentioned at all this thread at all, I'm pretty certain the 2009+ CTS-V has a 5 lug pattern with a 5x120 offset in both sedan and wagon.

The more I look at it the more I feel like a 12 year old wanting a poster of it on my wall. Good job Chrysler.
Also, this is one car I've never cared about performance around a track. Looks badass and goes fast. All you need to know.![]()
