Hi, you know when you slow down and your DSG automatically shifts down for you? Is there anyway to turn that off via a vag-com ? I thought I read somewhere that in Europe this feature was off.

I don't like the feature. It makes the DSG more of a lazy experience.

The box has to shift down to be prepared for the correct gear for the speed.
The DSG in the States operates the same in Europe.

If you are in M, it won't downshift until you are really low in RPM. It is not going to let you bring it down to 300 RPM and stall.

Same could be said about a manual transmission though. Which forces you to soon learn.
