Would be interesting to hear who's running the highest mileage DSG ?

Love to hear who's managed to get one to the 200k + Without anything needed apart from the regular DSG maintenance.

40,000 miles a year? That's insane. Good that the DSG is holding up for you though. I'm only at 4100 miles so hopefully I have a long living transmission as well

40k/yr probably means it is pretty much all highway miles. In such situation, the DSG is just gear turning gears. It is when in city driving when the DSG gets its most wear, with the constant engagement/disengagement of the clutches, moving gears in and out of gear, etc.

Exactly. That's why I bought the car - it was 1 1/2 yr old with 95K miles on it.

This is very encouraging! However, you may be the exception to the rule.

Sitting at 104k now. Only have had it in drive twice since I've owned the car. Always drive in manual because I hate the way it shifts. I literally beat the hell out of my car everyday on the freeway, and when I can get to a track event. I purchased the car with 80k on it. No service records from the original owner. I have been changing the DSG and Haldex every 10-15k, since owned.
Only ever had 2 weird situations since I've been driving it. Same situation both times. I was pulling out into traffic and going from first to second it lost all power. I let off the gas since I thought it was gonna die. Hit the gas again to see if anything would happen and she took off.
Aside of that I am amazed by the abuse this tranny has taken from my normal driving style.
