    18x8.0 5x100 ET42 VIP RG-1's all around

Want to sit flush all around
Don't have to fender roll with the small 1.5" drop right? Thanks!

    I need new rear tires,

Right now im running 225/40/18 512's but I dont think I will be going with 512's this time around.

If I go with another tire should I go with something 215/40/18? or another 225/40/18? I'm guessing the stretch will be a little less on a tire that's not a 512.

I found an ns-II on tyrestretch.com in a 215/40/18 and liked the stretch. Any other tires to recommend?

    Thanks for looking

So right now i have my winter wheel/tire setup on my MKIV Gti. (16" Montreal II's 205/55 tires) with 12mm spacers in the front only because without them my tires would rub the struts. I'm sitting on FK Streetlines. My fronts are around 3.5" from the ground. Im looking at these TSW Nurburgring's. They're 17" by 8 width. The offsets are 35mm or 45mm. I'm unsure of which offset i should choose as i dont really want poke, but i also dont want them deep in the wheel well either. Tire size 205/45 too? If someone could give me some insight that would be awesome, thanks.

go with the et35 on with that tire size you have in mind, unless you aren't that low, then I'd go with a 215

tucked with a little bit of poke....da f**k does that mean?

in all seriousness, you wont want to run any spacers with that wide of a wheel all around. fronts will poke but you don't have a choice and rears will also poke but it'll be manageable. mount them up and you'll see what i'm talking about

yup, that'll work. it's going to poke pretty good in the back if you dont have any rear fender work done. but after you get them on you can decide if you want to pull your rear fenders a little bit or not.

    sorry about skippin you...

i'd go 15mm up front and 20mm in the back. you shouldnt need to roll your front fenders but if you notice you hit them even once you may as well do it. it's a pretty simple job and will save your tires. plus when you get coilovers in the future and go lower the job will already be done

I think im going with 1.0-1.5 degree camber in the rear instead if it poke to much

Hey guys, looking to get a set of these wheels, 18x9.5 all around.

found a set and ill also be getting a set of raceland ultimo's for some low-low.

the offset on the wheel is et40.. ive seen a guy running 20mm spacers F&R is that the size to go with? spacers are not a big deal for me, im studying engineering and i have access to a cnc machine, so i can go and plug in a few numbers and a day later ive got spacers lol.

i just want to have everything ready to go on for a stock to rock installation of my wheels/tires/spacer/suspension alll in one good day of work
    can i haz it?

just doing some research, curious how you guys think this would look.

17x9.5 et 30 w/ 215/45's, they are 5x114 so id have to run adapters

i was thinking 19mm front, 24mm back. they would poke 32 & 37mm further then my current long beaches on 20mm spacers.

    fenders already rolled, 23 ftg

The wheels i have now, the Montreal II's are 42 offsets. If i bought the 17x8 with 35 offsets, i wouldn't need spacers, would i? and if i wanna stay at my same height, possibly lower, get 205/45 tires? Just trying to get everything setup so i can put everything together all at once. Also, would i need longer or different lugs to use? Or can i just use my stock ones from the OEM wheels.. Thanks in advance guys.

Hi all. So I recently bought a set of bbs lm reps. I want to know with my wheels and tires what spacer thickness will out me as flush with the wheel well as possible. Ride height is no issue because I am soon get coilovers. I'm going with the " tucked" option.

    Fenders are rolled *************

    Specs:
    18x8 all around
    35 offset
    74.1 center bore
    5x120 bolt pattern.

    Car: 01 GLS 1.8 4 door
    Tires are 225/40/18

Couple of questions. I know ecstuning.com offers good quality products. However, I ama little confused about what hub centric ring to buy. Secondly. Spacer thickness on front and rear for the 5x120 to 5x100 adaptors to sit wheels as flush as possible to fender lines? Also if anyone knows of another good quality spacer 5x120 to 5x100 with the thickness I need that rdcomendation would be good. I'm just confused to what hub ring to buy to go from 74.1 to the standard 57mm VW uses. Ecstuning said something about different options and it threw me right off.

Thanks so much hope to get this info soon as I'm just waiting on this correct and to order hub rings and spacer adaptors!!

Looking to fit some 18x8 Omanyt reps (Alzor style 608) on my Jetta. Probabley going to use some 225/40's so its close to the same diameter as stock. The car will be lowered with a 55/40 fk hightech cup kit.

The wheels will be 18x8 front and back and ET45. They are 5/112 so adaptor's will be needed.
Just unsure on the size of adaptor for the 45 offset.
Let me know what you know

just save yourself the trouble and get them in 8.5 and 9.5. you are going to **** your car up with an 18x9.5 up front on coilovers. but yes a 20mm is going to work on the rear, if you can make what ever you want you'd be good with anything 18-23mm depending on where you want it to sit.

15mm is really your only option and that is still going to have a bit of poke to it.

you wouldn't need spacers, but you'd probably want them. I don't know what wheels they are, but you'll want to check if they are ball seat or conical seat. some wheels you need to run extended lugs for, but it's not that common. we sell all of that stuff here at 42 draft designs \/

you have options with wheels like that, but i'd consider a 20mm front and 20-25mm rear.

since you'll need adapters, go with a 20mm on all 4 corners. this will poke a little so if you feel safe doing so, you can run a 15mm adapter up front and a 20 in back.

in regards to being hubcentric, you can likely find adapters that have an inner bore (the part that sits on your cars hub) of 57.1mm and with an outer bore (the lip the wheel will sit on) of 74.1mm. if you can't find adapters with the outer bore you need, that's where you'll need to install hubcentric rings. ecstuning or adaptitusa should have what you need for adapters though, if not try posting in the classifides. i know some people will custom make adapters to your specs

The wheels will be 18x8 front and back and ET45. They are 5/112 so adaptor's will be needed.
Just unsure on the size of adaptor for the 45 offset.
Let me know what you know
i'd do 20mm front and rear. maybe throw a 25 in the back if you want that look.

I'm putting Jeep Sahara Wheels on My AE, the specs are 18x7.5 ET 44 all around 5x5 lugs with 71.5 center bore and 215/40/18 tires. I'm looking for pretty much this exact fitment can someone help me out with what the specs on my adapters would be?

They're the rotary forged TSW Nurburgrings. Would they sit closer to my fender than the Montreal II's i have? 17x8 offset 35 compared to my Montreals i have now : 16x6.5 offset 42.
