I'll be updating the list whenever I find something I'm unsatisfied with. I'm going to try to keep things looking OEM/stock while improving upon performance and longevity. It's my daily driver which I love to beat the hell out of from time to time. Suggestions are welcomed.

    My baby

    Things to fix:
First up, need a rear seat delete IN PROGRESS

    Top of rear seats

The leather is as hard as a rock and lost it's color. The sun got to it over the years

Replace the cargo lid or remove the clips that hold it in CLIPS REMOVED

The cap on the handbrake popped off by itself (the handbrake released itself once)

Getting the headliner fixed. Going all black to match the rest of the interior FIXED

The trim that lines the dash and doors has been coming off my driver-side door at the window for a while. I roll the window up and it comes up with the glass as if it's waving to people outside
    FIXED

Need a sharkfin or antena delete to correct this

I have no idea what I need in order to fix this.. maybe just a new bumper

    This as well

This calls for a new valence

Are these screwdriver punctures repairable? Maybe a new bumper..

This is a gouge in the roof. I think I'll get a lovely used black one from a junkyard

Need to buff up my headlights and taillights

Also replace the rubber around the taillights

Scracthes and dings all over the car. This one is above the driver-side wheel on the hood

Red primer maybe behind the passenger door

Two or three dings behind the driver door

And the coup de gras.. A nice big ****ing mess on the passenger side. New quarter panels!

I'll be repairing my car mechanically while I'm getting the above worked on. Engine mechanics take priority over cosmetics since it's my daily driver.

    To Do:

    - I need to replace my slave cylinder
    - Need to get a new valence for exhaust
    - softer, adjustable suspension

    Completed:
    - Boost gauge install http://public.fotki.com/Chuckmeister87/ac-vent-gauge/
    - Fixed PCV leak
    - Headliner fixed along with trunk lining
    - Tons of minor fixes

    That's it for now.

long list but should be relatively easy to complete aside from the body work (respray maybe?)

I know it's easy, but it's not so easy on the wallet. I also dont have much time on my hands since I travel all over the US for my current job.... that's why it's a "To Do" list and not a "Completed" list

Bought it with the body work in need of repair. The headliner is recent and I let my mom borrow my car to go to the store once.... she broke the parcel cover. Never again

The button on the e-brake shot off all by itself one time while I had it. I was on delivery (I was told it was the coolest delivery car ever, and NO there is no pizza smell) and I pulled the e-brake in the driveway. I went to the trunk for the food and I heard a loud POP when I had the trunk open. I left the pizza for a sec, looked in the driver's door and saw nothing. Delivered the pizza and then when I went to release the e-brake, the cap was missing and the brake was off

every couple of months my e-brake button decided to rocket itself into the windshield...i just snap it back in place till the next time. i have a 225 valance laying around if you need it...its moro blue but has the dual cutouts as for the trunk cover clips...pull on the black round thingy's (kinda away from the trim) they will pop off leaving a black ball on the trim, alot less offensive than those claws hanging there! good luck!

Yeah, I think that's what happened to my button. It broke itself though and wont clip back in place. I've got a bottle of Gorilla Glue, but I dont want to make a mess.

The valence sounds promising.. I'd just have to get it painted Aviator Gray.. Send me a PM on the info please

Yeah, I'm going to pull the claws off. Wondering if I should install my two large speakers in place of the rear seats... BOOM BOOM BOOM

the e brake handle thing must be more common then i thought, mine did the same thing, but mine wasn't on when i bought it, till one day when i braked hard and it came rolling out from under my passenger seat, I was like oh hey ya that works.

edit: oh and those have to be the worst condition I've ever seen for seats. That Florida weather must be rough on them.

That new head and trunk liner looks great! Any advice/tips/DIY's on this? I'm about to tackle this as well, but will be totally shooting in the dark.

Very nice...especially after the original interior shots. TBH, I have never seen a coupe interior in such bad shape...brought tears to my eyes.

You'll need a complete respray IMO after all the body work is done. There's no reason to piece-meal it. Just save until you can do it all at once, else the body panel paint jobs will never match. If you can do body work/paint your self, you'll save thousands. If not, save till you have the thousands.

good luck and looking forward to seeing her back to new.

My pretty baby after signifiant body/paint work (last year.)

Lol I used HeadlinerExpress.com for the fabrics. I took out all of the parts and took it to the guy (he's local and the best guy for fabrics). The railbars are sensitive and brittle so you have to be careful with them.

Take out the trunk first by using a torx 30 under the silver latches right behind the rear seats. The entire tire cover piece will come up after that. Then you need a deepwell socket (really really deep) 17mm to get the two little latches the rear seats snap into. Those side trunk pieces you kinda have to break off because I haven't found a way to move it off without breaking the clips (they slide in opposite directions).

Guess I should have taken pictures, but anyone who's any good at headliners and interiors should be able to help you put them back in if you aren't able to.
