Here is a website that discusses Grants and Help Funding. Look at the page and scroll to the bottom. There are various categories:

Look up your state and don't be shy to call your State Representative's office too. If your wife is good on the phone [soliciting-terms] she could become an activist on the "awareness" programs for her own state. Something else to think about, MV-1 is a new start-up company. There's a lot of room to promote this vehicle country wide. It seems that design could be better suited to smaller establishments or business sectors of the market bulky full sized vans process at the moment.

That's crazy, I've been on AMSvans.com several times and apparently never saw that section, I've gotta look into that some more. I'm assuming I'd look into our HOR which is CT, even though we're out in CA right now...

We updated the fundraiser as well, if you browsed around an other fundraisers and saw some "Perks", we decided to add some for the last 90 (technically 89) days. My wife and I started some jewelry making, she designs it, I make it. So we decided to throw those in for 3 different monetary levels. If you already donated and you'd like one or whatever, PM me your name ad what you'd like, of course you'd still have to be eligible for that corresponding amount.

Thanks for the support yall keep on giving!

Pendant on where you're earning your own incomes. You could call and check.

I'm glad this is working out for you both. If I come across other information or financing avenues it will be posted in this thread.

As of now, we earn it in CA, by January, another state, but my taxes will remain CT, I'll probably just try to call our friend over there and see what she says. There's this military financing company as well, I forget the name, I may look into them for when the time comes.... And again, thanks for doing that work!

You have Omni Financial and Security National Automotive Acceptance Company [SNAAC] I believe. The links I provided for Grants would incorporate their own lending institutions / organizations - most Federally Operated.

Another donation today. We've had donations from I believe $1-$500 and every single bit has helped so far. I thank everyone here again for the support!

Applying for a local grant as we have a couple sources we can mention that will vouch for us. Wish us luck! We are still open for contributions for another couple months! Sharing works just as well!

    Thanks

So my wife and I decided to hold off on the grant now, reason being is because we're going to ask the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society for a grant seeing as it's strictly military and we'd rather not take the opportunity from another family who may actually need it more. Should we get denied by NMCRS, I'll look back into the civilian grants.

As of right now though, we've received over $7000 in donations and we've got a little more than a month left!

So thanks to all who've supported us and if you feel the need to, keep on sharing!

    So just a quick update:

    We've reached our goal!

And I'd like to thank everyone on here that contributed by donating or sharing the link, to include the Moderators who let this thread stand. We can't begin to thank everyone enough to show how much grateful we are. So we raised the $9000 in this fundraiser and a previous ~ $1000 which brings our grand total raised to a little over $10,000!

And to everyone that had a problem with this thread, I thank you for your patience and should you need assistance in the future, be sure to message me and let me know, seriously.

Once the van is purchased I'll post pictures on here, we're hoping to start the talks in December but may not be ready to buy until May/June time frame based on my next duty station.

    Again, thank you to everyone!

Ok so thank you again to everyone who's supported this! We received our funds from the campaign and tucked them away into savings. We're going back to CT this winter with the hopes to get a van then, if not, April/May next year we'll be getting one.

My next goal is to get my wife to the Ellen Show by gaining her attention from stupid, low quality, photoshopped pictures:
    http://www.facebook.com/GetAleciaToTheEllenShow

If you get a chance and maybe we can make you laugh, check out our works!

But again, we can't begin to thank you all enough for the support you've given and shown us! It wouldn't have been as great without the community here. There are days when reading parts of the forums I can't believe why I still come back here, but when I go back and read the support in this thread, I realize why I do. So again, thank you to everyone!

Hey no worries, I was in shock by how much the community here helped with the contest and campaign, not to mention those that backed the thread up to those few nay-sayers
