Unfortunately they removed vote counts from the Local Heroes page, they're now posted on the contestants page only. I'd be cray to go through 900+ pages Haha. Votes only update every 6 hours too, kind of sucks but to help keep the site running, i guess it works

Being a recently retired military member I understand how the military lifestyle works and also being a father with a child with disabilities I can also relate to that as well.

I want to make a short comment on something that was said in this thread about just buying a new van...contrary to popular belief, the U.S. military doesn't pay all that well. That is all.

My stepdad is 100% service connected, and they paid the cost difference between a normal Sienna, and the one that was modded to have the ramp installed. Took him, oh, 34 years to get 100% service connected, and after Vietnam, he worked full time for the VA.
