Lol me too. Headlight-wise, they don't look that different other than clear lenses and dual turns. In fact, they look like the same lights.

Yes Joey modded. And how doesn't it matter? Huge improvement visibility wise and look dope.

Dude, I hate to break it to u but the oem hid's VW made for the mkiv platform suck balls. The projectors they use are TINY meaning beam width and spread blows. They're not good projectors at all. Hell, if I was stuck with oem hid's I'd retrofit them and fit in some quality/proper projectors like the fx-r's of the mkv ones. At least they are not the fk's though so u did technically upgrade. Joey modding on any blue other than jazz blue just doesn't look good. It blends with the color of the car too much. Anyways, this is all just my opinion and my worthless 2¢. Gl👍
