What would you pay for...

2003 dolphin gray a4, fwd
87k
Has bad cam tensioner
Needs timing belt (just that time)
Has been in wreck and did pop passenger airbag
Clean title, wreck happened sometime ago
This is the cvt transmission

Car is clean outside and inside for most part

Would be looking to buy and sell once fixed up. I've looked at it and did compression check and was at 150 across the board. Does run but cam tensioner is bad.

I was thinking I would resell at $6000 due the past wreck and being fwd. thoughts on what its worth?

You may be able to get 6 for it if its super clean. I just feel like someone spending that kind of money would want a quattro. Just my $.02...if I was buying it id be hesitant to spend more than 2500. Prob has a bad carfax even if its got a good title. Leave yourself enough room to buy all the parts to make it right. And of course youll want to be compensated for all the time & effort that goes into flipping a car. If you want top dollar from someone its gonna have to be problem free, damage free, clean, serviced, and inspected (depending on where you live)
