Fair price?

Hey guys n gals, im from the vw section of vortex but wanted to ask a question about a price on a 04' A4 wagon. Friend of mine was lookin at getting one, the guys asking 8500 for a 04' wagon with 100k on it and it just had its timing belt changed. Fair price? I thought the price should be lowered..

Any feedback would be great!

I always go by NADA's value and it never fails me. Wagons are tricky though, alot of things to factor in here... What was the car used for up until its current mileage, interior/exterior color, tip or manual... And there is a lot more service that needs to be done than just the timing belt with that much mileage...
