Had a C5 Z06. Sold it to buy a C6 Z06. Got a ride in a ZR1 and only wish I could have drove it!!!
If money was no object i'd have the vette and the souped up beetle but since I don't **** cash...its a vette. Running cost of a Porsche is just stupid. From insurance to parts your overpaying all the way. Love the GT3 and my favorite would be a Black 993 Turbo but since my name is not Chris Harris I'd pick the Vette every time.
And remember who won Lemans gt classes...
And really. Lets settle once and for all. The 911 is a more evolved Beetle. Don't believe me...
Here is from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_911
And then from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_356Porsche 911 classic was developed as a much more powerful, larger, more comfortable replacement for the Porsche 356, the company's first model.
Sorry but its true....The 356 was created by Ferdinand "Ferry" Porsche (son of Dr. Ing. Ferdinand Porsche, founder of the company). Like its cousin, the Volkswagen Beetle (which Ferdinand Porsche Senior had designed), the 356 was a four-cylinder, air-cooled, rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive car utilizing unitized pan and body construction.
