    FS/FT: BBS RS 16x8

    I picked up a set of bbs rs211's a few weeks back without really thinking about other projects I had going on. The wheels are apart right now with plans in polishing the lips, replacing the hardware, fill/re-drill the faces and possibly polishing them. after putting some work into stripping the lips and sanding one of the thrashed ones I am starting to think that I will get too involved and throw too much loot and time into getting them the way that I like while there are some other things I need to do to the car.

    $950 (picked up)
    for all 4 faces, 4 lips, 4 barrels, 3 center caps, all hardware

    Possible trades: wheels, mk2 gti content, rifles, guns, RPGs etc, etc..


    Wheel specs:
    BBS RS211
    16x8 et11
    5x120
    2" Slant lips

    Gold Faces
    1 Lip needs some sanding for cosmetic purposes (looks like someone took a machine wheel to it)
    3 lips are stripped (will be polishing these up over the next week or so)
    missing one center cap
    NO cracks or bends in any of the parts







    Here is what the majority of the bolts look like


    Lip 1
    Completed doing a full polish on 1 of the lips (started at 220 and went up to 2000grit)


    Lip 2
    (clearcoat stripped off, not sanded)


    Lip 3
    (roughest of all, it was pitted, looked like someone took some sort of machine to try and sand them, I started wet sanding them by hand but would probally have to go to a low grit to get the pits out)



    Lip 4
    (Cant get the clear off, may have to bead blast it, will get pics asap)

    I remember your PM a bit ago about picking up two barrels, once the faces are definatly gone I will consider selling the barrels. Only thing is I am not sure if it is more benificial to sell the barrels as a set or in sets of 2. I will PM you and keep you updated
