Picked up a new 2012 GTI Autobahn last week. Only got to drive it off the lot and home because the nav screen wouldn't switch on, so had to take it back to dealer to get replaced. Long story short, they had to keep the car for a few days because the replacement nav wasn't in stock blah blah blah. Well when I got my car back, I feel like they downgraded my nav. I seem to remember having the RNS510 (with larger touchscreen, HDD, etc). Now I have the RNS315 (smaller screen, extra scroll wheel and buttons). I don't know if I'm just imagining it, because I have no pictures or proof of what I had before other than my memory. All the research I've done seems to indicate that I could have had the RNS510 (or the similar RCD510), but that doesn't necessarily mean I did. FWIW, most of the videos on YouTube I seem to find of GTIs (Autobahn or otherwise) show the RNS510 or RCD510.
My question is: does anybody know if the 2012 Autobahn package is supposed to include the RNS510 (or RCD510)? Is there any way to check or know if I had the RNS510 before it was switched out? I really regret not taking a photo of the inside as that would have easily solved my question. Please help, as I'd really like to know if I was ripped off. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the RNS-510 is the better nav, but they stopped putting it in anything for the 2010 MY. I almost positive of this anyway..

This is why being a service advisor sucks.
