    Hey guys,

I've had the Magnaflow sport exhaust on my car for about a year now and I really love the sound but sometimes I wished it was even louder (read: Obnoxiously loud).

If I were to decat the .:R, any significant differences?

My Milltek Res + decat is somewhere in between the res and non res systems. It should definitely make your car louder.

More loud will be had with a decat. Also, more rasp will come from it.

It just so happens that I am running this exact setup. Only 3" pipe and the Magnaflow sport setup. Check it out!

I have the Sport exhaust. without the resonator.

I was quoted 300$ for decat, is that resonable? sounds expensive to me

Removing cats is just plain stupid.

Not only is it loud, but it is also illegal and against every attempt to have a better environment.

Plan to have kids? Hope they don't like trees.

    There, I've said it.

Agreed, especially if it's a daily driver. The rasp sounds like **** anyway.

If you want louder with a touch more rasp that diminishes with time, go the high flow cat route. Magnaflows are pretty cheap.

Really depends on your area. As its been established, it's illegal in most parts of the country to decat your vehicle. Shops take risks by doing this kind of work, so they typically charge more for it. It cost me $75 to have it done. I live 5min from Mexico so emissions testing is non-existent around here.

Trust me, there are things far worse destroying the environment, in places all around the world. Get that tampon out of your ass.

My catless R32 still produces less greenhouse gasses than cattle.

If removing catalysts is stupid , how about all the older cars running around that were never produced with cats? Should they all be scrapped and everyone forced into driving hybrids?

I'm not being a smart arse , just posing a legitimate question....

How hard is the install? How much did it run you? do you have a check engine light?

    @ Sdubs

@kilohotel , the test pipe install wasn't difficult and it cost me about $100 and I kept the OEM cats. However , search for the Milltek test pipe thread I posted and you can contact Greg @ Griffen for the Milltek test pipe
