Ok i had posted a previous thread and was going off that when I noticed what is in the picture.

Background:
2001 1.8t wolfsburg jetta. Driving home and stopped at a stoplight. Car stalled and wouldn't start, replaced starter still only can hear the solenoid engage. Crank will not turn by hand at all. I was getting ready to drop the oil pan to see if the crank had seized as mentioned in my previous post when i noticed part of the clutch scarred up. Before i drop the oil pan could there be something in the clutch that is locking the crank up?
