Thread: Light switch

  1. 04-08-2012 03:44 PM #1
I noticed that there is no parking light position on the headlight switch, so how does the headlight switch work? Either all OFF or all on? Or is the on position really "auto"

its either all off or all on, no other way... unless you get a euro switch and disable DRL with vagcom.

Yes, unless you have them disabled through vagcom.

I'm okay with DRL's on while the switch in on off. I just want to control the actual headlights.

if you run the euro switch, disable DRL.. makes life easier for you. then you get full control of parking lights/headlights whenever you want.

You'll also need to run a trigger wire, look in the DIY.
Need Vag-Com in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa? Send me a PM.
