I changed the follower and forgot that one #&@^ step to re-prime the lines.... Ran for a second and died.. I feel like a complete baffoon..

Take the pump back off, follower is in its bore and the HPFP "foot" is in the follower. Plenty of fuel on the LPFP supply side, the HP side is bone dry.... Cycle the key MANY times, crank and crank and no dice.. Take the HP 17mm side off and still bone dry..

WTF!? PLEASE tell me there's a bleed procedure for this.. I've searched and searched and all it came up with was TDI and afftermarket APR pump stuff.

I'll try this again here in a second..

Understeer is when the front end hits the wall. Oversteer is when the back end hits the wall.
HP is how hard you hit the wall, and Tq is how far you move the wall when you hit it.

NVM.... Fired right up... I went to dinner and came back here to post this.... Something must have clicked....

    Runs fine..

But while I'm here, I washed the engine compartment earlier, but WITH the engine cover on. I didn't spray the engine at ALL. Just the frame wells where the fuse boxes and coolant bottle is. Maybe something got wet?

the car primes when the driver door opens up iirc. should also prime when the key is turned at all.

when we installed my HPFP, she cranked right up, with almost no hesitation.
