installed tt 260/264 cams, new chains and guides, new clutch everything went smoothly car ran great after about 400 miles had a issue got a loud bang while driving pulled over shut it off had it hauled took it apart and one of the rocker arm type things had come off of the spring under the cam and fell down into the engine. could this be a issue with the install or just a faulty part everything is still tight and looks good minus the rocker arm that came off anyone have any experience with this

Did you install new lash adjusters when the new camshafts were replaced? Maybe a lash adjuster
failed to pump up or got stuck allowing the cam follower to get loose and fall off?
