I just installed an R1 DV from APR, and instead of the nice crisp "ksssss" sound, it makes a fluttery, more whistley sound. Is this compressor surge? I understand that because it is a different valve, it wont sound the same as stock, but this just doesnt sound right to me. Here's what it sounds like now.

If it makes a difference, I bought this valve brand new 2 weeks ago, and it has always sounded like that, I am back to using the stock bosch valve until I figure out whether or not this is normal. Thanks
