Hey all,
I've got to get rid of some of my TDI's, so I'll be selling my Audi 200 Wagon that I transplanted a 2.5L 5cyl. AEL TDI engine into as a project a few years back.
The engine has about 90,000 miles on it and just received a brand new head job from Frank over at TDI Club (Frank06).
The car is perfectly driveable and is my father's daily commuter, but the body is certainly starting to show it's age... I'd love to pull the engine and put it into something else, but I don't have the time right now so I'd love for an enthusiast to pick this up for whatever project they've got in mind.
Here are some quick phone pics... I'll post engine shots soon.
Thanks!

Sorry guys...I must have been totally distracted while posting this because I didn't even manage to get it into the Audi classifieds section. A mod can move this if they feel like it.
Back on topic now -- I'd like $3500 for the car as it is now, and I'm located in South Western CT.
No codes on engine as last checked with my VAGCOM a few weekends ago. Starts right up and runs very, very well. It's a 'one owner' engine as it was crated and imported from Europe with 0 miles on it.
I might decide to pull the engine if I can't sell the entire thing, but then I'll probably just put it in something else...![]()

Hey guys -- been super busy at work so I haven't gotten the time for more pics. By the time I get home it's dark out, so I'll post some up this Saturday morning after a wash and clean.
Thanks!![]()

Hey guys, sorry for the delay on these.
It's Orthodox Easter this weekend so I was caught up with church things for most of the day.
Again...this car is being sold mostly for the ENGINE. It is certainly a capable daily driver, but it's old and showing it's 22 years of age. Power windows work, radio works, A/C needs to be hooked but will work, heat works...
But, again, it's no beauty queen. I didn't have a chance to clean it at all, so this is how it sits now.
Engine Speed at 80MPH in 5th gear is at 3,000RPM's. Avg's 34ish MPG mixed driving. If it were mated to it's proper transmission it would certainly get better MPG's.
Below is a youtube link to it running.

Sorry again for the delay in these pics!

Couple of questions if you don't mind,
You said the engine was imported with 0 miles as new, so you bought it new from Europe?
Any frame or chassis rot?
Any leaks?
Also I know you said your father used this as his commuter, anything the car is going to need soon as far as maint?!
Thanks! Very interested, I'm in Rocky Hill. What part of South west CT are you in?!

x2 on Nismo's questions above, please.
Very cool, utilitarian car. Don't take the engine! Someone will want this.
I'll be in CT in early May and would love to have a look if its still available.
