    FS: MA - 2006 3.6L 4mo Sport Package $12,500

    For sale in Boston, MA area is a 2006 Passat 3.6L 4mo Sport Package. Car has 84k miles. I bought it back in 09 with 33k miles. I know that the right rear 1/4 panel was repainted. While I've owned the car it's been hit twice in the parking lot in the same exact spot. Both times i only had to replace the cracked bumper cover. I am a certified VW tech so this car has always been maintained.

    - at 10k the engine was replaced - timing chain issue
    - at 60k the auto trans and 4 wheel drive unit were replaced under factory warranty
    - at 80k the cats were replaced

    Some upgrades:

    - 19" CC knock of wheels/goodyear gt tires
    - Touch screen radio
    - VokL bluetooth with audio streaming.
    - VW Front lip and skirts

    was the oil pump bolt issue fixed with that engine replacement in its early life?

    Engine was replaced for that problem with an updated engine.

    How does the car drive now? Is there any warranty on the newer items? Does the chassis and other mechanicals still have warranty?

    So update...

    Car got hit in the front end, no frame demage but EVERYTHING in the front was replaced with new oem parts. Great paint work by a VW certified body shop. I inspected all the work.
    Also all the wheels were straigtened by RIMPRO.
    OEM front brakes done+brake flush

    I just drove by you the other day heading back to Waltham in Belmont. I was in the black MK3 with the front mount that turned at the light. I'd definitely like to check out the car. I work in Cambridge and live in Waltham. Lets chat.

    Sorry, there was no interest in the car so i decided to keep it. But now it looks like i'll be getting a b5 for a commuter car and this thing needs to be sold. i hate to see this thing go because it drives and looks like new. my cell is 617-259-572, car is located in nahant ma in the evenings and at minuteman vw during work hours. lmk if and when anyone wants to look at it.

    all that the car needs is an alignment and maybe winter wheels because its on 19s. I would have done an alignment at my dealer but our machine is old and does not support 19s.

    bump! no trades or lol parting out Car looks and drives like new! the only thing it needs is an alignment. I had to drop the subframe when i did the cats and my dealer has an old machine that does not support 19" wheels. I will do an oil change and pollen filter for the buyer. Spark plugs were done at 60k, so those are due at 120k. It has a drop-in K&N air filter that was done at 60K, should be replaced at 100k or cleaned. Bothe radiator fans just replaced. Both xenon bulbs just replaced. ALL OEM. 245-35-19 Eagle GT tires are at 6/32. Car is now on autotrader.
