I'll have to get some decent pics sometime, but I've got a '92 GTI 16V that I've done a bit of work to... I'm nowhere near done with it, I've just finished things up enough to drive it daily, and I still have some big plans for it, but so far it has: 10.1" front brakes, Autotech drilled and slotted rotors up front, and drilled rotors out back, Mintex red box pads all around, SS braided hoses, new 22mm ATE master cylinder, new prop. valve, running AP Lockheed DOT 5 fluid, H&R race springs, Bilstien sports, Autotech lightweight sways, Autotech stress bars (all of them), R32 control arm bushings, urethane front bushings, urethane rack mount bushing, urethane rear shock mount bushings, all new ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, Corrado G60 strut mounts, G60 trans mount, Rallye Golf rear motor mount, diesel front mount, Schrick oil pan with windage tray, TT cat back stainless with two resonators and a Borla muffler, TT VR6 high flow cat, chain reinforced hangers, TT Motronic chip, K&N airfilter, Corrado G60 lower air box, Nology wires, NGK plugs... Then there's what I've done to make it tolerable to drive here in AZ, I replaced the entire A/C system with all new parts, and I do mean the entire system, hoses, evaporator, condenser, compressor, expansion valve, rec. drier and all seals. I also replaced the heater core while I was at it, along with all the coolant hoses, and all new belts. Then to top it all off I've got a set of ATS Type 5's wrapped in 195/50/15 Yokohama S-drives.. I'd share the future plans for it, but that's an even longer list than what I've already typed out Yes, I have a problem, luckily I have a very understanding gf

I daily drive my '90 Jetta with an ABA swap, wifey rocks the B5.5 wagon. There've been lots more VW/Audis in our driveways over the years as well. The standouts (IMO) include an '85 Vanagon and my favorite, a '93 90csq Sport.

An '08 MkV GTI. Strictly for commuting to work/family hauling. The only mod is smoked front marker lights, because they were cheap. While I enjoy the car and don't regret buying it, it is not the same as a Scirocco.

A rather decrepit Mk3 Cabrio. I keep on putting off repairs until we can afford it, and the list of needed repairs keeps on getting bigger. First on the list, though, is to do something about how alarmingly slow it is...

There are plenty more in the family, too. My father-in-law (he's the one who talked me into getting my 'rocco) is a high-powered executive, and still takes clients out to dinner in his '85 Vanagon. There's also a Karmann Ghia and a '68 Bug that will one day see the road again.
