    So I assume we'll have a knuckleballer starting the AS game for the NL team this year, correct?

    Will that make him the first to do so? Did Wake start a game?

    Phil Niekro comes to mind as having a shot at starting. He was an all-star several times.

    It appears the wheels are falling off. Though every time this happens they come back strong. Take the next two from the Cubs and win 3 of 4 from the Dodgers and all will be right again.

    Meanwhile, I just happen to glance over box scores from today's day games: Ollie Perez with the Ms has a 2.77 ERA in a month and half of relief pitching in the bigs. While I am glad he's doing well, Met pitching would take this kind of effort at any day the last few seasons and especially its own pitching this year
