I've thought about it, but haven't talked to Eric or Joel.
We'll see if either of them post a comment...

Thanks Robin, but we're still doing the old one too. ...just a little further into spring this time around. Nothing wrong with everyone getting together for two swaps.

As usual, we will be providing grilled awesomes and drinks at the very least.

    I'm working on the date.

And if there isn't anything left to swap, we can just hang, eat and go drive!

    I do too.

Lots of fresh cars out there this year. Despite all of the interweb drama... I'm thinking it's going to be a fun car show season.

We are currently coordinating with Hardey's and BW to come up with a swap/bbq trifecta of doom this season. Since a swap is already going to be going down at Hardey's BBQ, it seemed silly to try and squeeze one in before or soon after. Besides, we can all really only swap this junk between ourselves so many times, right? Heheh. That gives us all two more solid car related events too.

How about a Mayan theme for 2012?

The Mayans practiced bloodletting... We could place random obstacles in the parking lot and bash some sacrificial oil pans. ???

We crushed all our leftover junk a couple years ago with Russell's truck after the meet was over.

I'm WAY down for something more destructive. Fire?

One fun thing my brother does in Redneck, FL is take barely running piles of crap & stage a homegrown demo derby.

Or maybe a sledgehammer car? We could spraypaint the names of our least favorite teachers & then hit em with hammers!

I think a permit from the Fire Dept would be a great start.

Or not. I like your idea, too.
