My air flow plate potentiometer is reading high out of spec. I can't seem to adjust it back into spec. According to the Bentley, that means replacing the entire air flow plate assembly.
Anyone know of a place that sells the potentiometers? Or know if it's actually even possible to just replace the pot itself without replacing everything else? The entire CIS system seems to be adjusted and working properly other than the out-of-spec readings on the pot, so I'd love to not have to completely retweak everything just for the pot.
I'd also prefer buying a new part as opposed to trying to find something at a junkyard, but I think that's probably what I'll end up doing...
Another question: why are the screw holes on the pot adjustable (like the CIS-E pot) if the only adjustment that can be done is via the small screw? Is there no way I can adjust the mounting position of the pot to get it back into spec?
It sucks because the car is running great except for part throttle.
