it scares me that 20 people have looked at this and not a single one of them knows of a yard with vw's in it.

Don't fret, most of the people in the RM forums are in the Denver area so they wouldn't know much in the COS area. You can hit up Edition 719's forum or facebook page for COS specific things. To answer your question, Best Foreign probably has what you're looking for, but they can be pricey. U Pull and Pay has good prices, but it's a tossup as to what they might have. ABC off of Las Vegas st usually has something and has decent prices, and American and Import out East on highway 94 isn't too bad either. I'd stay away from Harris since they base their prices off of 75% of new/reman cost.

    U Pull U Pay today (4/13/12) off 85, had a couple mk4 Jetta's, at least 5 MK3 Jetta's, a Rabbit Cabriolet, couple mk2 Golfs, a B3 Passat 16v and B3 Passat VR6.
Didn't remember what you were looking for, but now that I re-read your post I do know the block was in the VR6 Passat, not sure about the trans.
Also a silver Corrado VR6 but pretty stripped. Had the Bilstein/ H&R rear struts though. ?? where the fronts are.
And just in case you needed some parts for a Saab Sonnet, they had 3 of them!

Anything left of the 16v Passat?
    Insert witty comment here.
